Audi will introduce the new version of the A4 compact sedan and wagon (Avant) in fall 2008 as a 2009 model. The new A4 features updated styling similar to the 2008 Audi A5. The new model makes extensive use of lightweight steel and features chassis and suspension improvements designed to make the A4 more involving to drive. The US version will be available with a new 211 horsepower version of Audi's 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as well as a 265 horsepower 3.2 liter V6. A 3.0 liter turbodiesel V6 will join the lineup in 2010 or 2011.
